Best bow/special bows?
Hi Search came up with nothing for bow, so I thought I'd ask. What is the best raw damage bow, and is there a special bow, like the firey dragon sword or chaos axe? Have a 15-28 Half Moon now, but it really feels like ages since I've had a new weapon.

I have a 15-28 longbow and a 15-28 shortbow. I'm pretty sure 15-28 is the cap on bows. However grips and strings can be applied to augment the bows. I've saved one of every variety of bow I've found. I've only ever found 1 ivory bow, and while its damage is lower than the other bows, it is unique, so I kept it.

Far as I know 15-28 is the cap. But each bow has a different range and reload times. Like a longbow for sniping and a short for close range. I have found that it is go to have at least 2 different bows to switch between.

15-28 is the max base damage on bows. Here is a guide to the different bow types - LINK
The only bow not listed there that I have used myself is the Shadow Bow, and I recommend against it - it is agonizingly slow. |

i like to open in with a long bow.. and pull out a half/short if they get close as speed is always an issue.
sidenote: stormbows and ivory bows look the shit IMO |
